Waking up to the noise of Shanghai..

I’ve been awake since 5 this morning (about 9pm in England) with a few hours sleep as my sleeping patterns all out of sync. We arrived in Shanghai late last night after two eight-hour flights stopping off at Dubai airport in between, just glad to be off a plain full of screaming babies! We found our hotel in the dark so not being able to see much of China yet apart from some people outside our window cooking barbeques loudly and listening to busy street noise. Excited for our first day at the other side of the world but slightly nervous at the same time as we have no idea what we will be up to... also wondering whether our lift to Ningbo will arrive this morning as we haven't heard anything yet, fingers crossed!
